Hartswood Farm is ideally located between the coast and the countryside. A short drive will get  you to fantastic locations such as Scarborough, Whitby, Malton, York, and many more. 


Malton is a charming market town. It is a perfect destination for those looking for a mix of history, culture and outdoor recreation. The town is also known for its food scene and is often referred to as the "Food Capital of Yorkshire."


The nearby city of York is a popular tourist destination, known for its rich history, stunning architecture and cultural offerings. Visitors can explore its ancient walls, visit the York Minster, a beautiful Gothic cathedral, and take a stroll through the historic Shambles, a medieval street lined with independent shops and cafes.


Scarborough, a coastal town located just a short drive from Hartswood Farm, is also a popular destination for visitors. It offers scenic views, sandy beaches, and a variety of attractions, including the Scarborough Castle and the Stephen Joseph Theatre. Come say hello to our Goats (Nibbles, Tallulah, Sven and Olaf), our many chickens that roam the property and the pigs on the neighbouring farm. 


 You'll have the opportunity to interact with and learn about these animals, and if Eugene or Lucy are around you might have the opportunity to feed the animals!


Visiting a farm with goats, chickens, and pigs is an educational and fun experience that provides a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and a chance to connect with nature and the environment.
